India's top engineering and construction firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said its hydrocarbon engineering unit, in consortium with Subsea 7, has won order for two projects from state oil giant Saudi Aramco.

As per the deal, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering will provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services for three oil production deck manifolds and subsea pipelines in Zuluf and Berri Fields of Saudi Aramco.

This is the fifth award for the consortium and provides for significant project pipeline for the firms, said a statement from the Indian group.

At present, there are four offshore contracts under execution by the consortium for Saudi Aramco under the long-term agreement, it stated.

LTHE has three fabrication yards and this project will be built in its flagship facility at Hazira in Gujarat, India, established to “design and build” offshore oil & gas projects.

Through excellent execution performance on the ongoing projects, LTHE has established a strong track record in the Middle East.

Over the past three decades, LTHE has served the offshore oil & gas industry with consistent delivery that brings Oil Majors and National Oil Companies to place repeat orders on LTHE for challenging projects.

An Indian multinational giant, L&T is engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with operations in over 30 countries worldwide and over $18 billion in revenue.-TradeArabia News Service
