Danish hip-hop group to take Apollo by storm

A Danish hip-hop group is set to perform for the first time at brand new nightspot Apollo later this month.

Located at Al Safir Hotel and Tower, Juffair, the December 28 event will showcase the creative blend of music Outlandish has become well-known for.

Formed in 1997, the band garnered a big fan following with a creative blend of hip-hop and folk music that encompasses various influences from each of the band members’ background.

Their first single Pacific to Pacific was used in connection with an Amnesty International charity event and their single Saturday Night was included on the soundtrack for Danish film Pizza King.

Supporting on the night behind the decks are DJs Shoni, Tiger and VJMP3.

Doors open at 8pm.

Meanwhile, Australian DJ and producer Natalia Moon will perform at Apollo on New Year’s Eve.
