Export Bahrain signs agreement with Italian agency

Under the agreement, Export Bahrain and SACE agreed to exchange information on business opportunities to further promote exports, including utilising the exchange of knowledge to aid capacity building, added the Bahrain News Agency report.

Zayed R Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, SME Development Council chairman, and Michal Ron, managing director and head of International Business of SACE, signed the agreement during HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister’s official visit to the Italian Republic.

The agreement will create promising growth opportunities for Bahrainis and Italians alike by expanding SMEs' global market reach and spurring job creation.

Export Bahrain brings together resources from local and international partners to further strengthen SMEs’ international sales strategies and their ability to compete in the global market.

Export Bahrain continues to support the expansion of non-oil exports by broadening the range of business development services on offer to include export financing, export credit insurance, export shipment solutions, market intelligence, business to business facilitation, deal support, and advisory services, added the report.
