ImpactGulf launches modular decarbonisation solutions

INDUSTRIAL NEWS

ImpactGulf, a newly established carbon management start-up based in Masdar City, has launched modular decarbonisation solutions, claiming to make climate action transparent and simple to understand and implement.

“We found that many organisations in the Gulf region want to take climate action and reduce their carbon footprint, but it can be challenging to know how and where to start,” says Yassin Nasri, founder of ImpactGulf.

This is the reason for ImpactGulf's modular offer that stands behind the company’s slogan: “Decoding Net Zero”.

The company particularly praises its “Transport” module, and primarily the "Commute-To-Work" part, which navigates the complexity of climate decisions and enables organisations to calculate, reduce and offset the carbon footprint of their employees.

"The transport sector is responsible for 24% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide," says Bogdan Fatu, CEO of Terra Technology, ImpactGulf’s partner from the very beginning and its first client in the UAE.

“And there can be nothing better for a company, its employees and the corporate atmosphere than when the management and the employees jointly develop and implement climate action, as is the case with the commuter module," he adds.

Beyond the modules, ImpactGulf offers its clients tailored and comprehensive decarbonisation solutions in collaboration with Avvena. For its global clients targeting the GCC market, the two companies offer decarbonisation of entire value chains and on-site services such as market, business development and account management support to reduce the need for business travel.-- TradeArabia News Service
