Saudi engineering programmes get Washington Accord nod

Saudi Council of Engineers has announced that the academic engineering programmes in the Saudi universities have obtained membership of the Washington Accord, following an agreement between the authorities responsible for professional accreditation.
 
This membership aims to accredit the certificates of graduates of engineering programs from the Saudi universities in the member states, reported SPA.
 
Council Secretary General Engineer Abdulnasser Alabdullatif stressed the importance of the engineering field in participating in the comprehensive national development.
 
It is a key partner in achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in various fields, he added.
